Jane Velasco, FDNP

I've dedicated 23 years to the health and fitness industry as a personal trainer, owning my own facility and leading an active, healthy lifestyle. However, in 2015, I began experiencing persistent symptoms that wouldn't relent—hormonal imbalances and gallstone issues. 

 

Both my ob-gyn and GI doctor prescribed birth control pills to manage my severe PMS, heavy bleeding, and ovarian cyst. Unfortunately, this treatment exacerbated my condition: my cyst grew to 5 cm, and debilitating migraines ensued. Concurrently, I suffered excruciating gallstone attacks. Despite being fit and healthy, I faced the unexpected recommendation to remove my gallbladder due to potential life-threatening complications.

To a Healthier YOU

My treatment approach extends beyond merely addressing your symptoms. I adopt a WHOLISTIC perspective, aiming to restore balance within your body. Rather than solely focusing on your symptoms, I act as a detective, investigating your mineral levels, hormones, and gut health to uncover the root causes of your condition.

Once I discover the issues, WE create a plan to get you back to your healthy self again.   

I create a protocol where we will focus on your DRESS Protocol; Diet, Rest, Exercise, Stress management, Supplementation.  Some supplements are temporary and others are ongoing to help increase optimal health. 

My program is about 6-9 months depending on our findings.  Please note that depending on the severity of your symptoms, it can sometimes take a little bit longer.  But know that I'm with you every step of the way!
